New Urban Communities Authority  represented in New Cairo City and in cooperation with Housing and Building National Research Center organized a seminar entitled "  Management and recycling  of demolition and construction waste Project  in New Cairo City " at the headquarters of  Housing and Building National Research Center  on 8/10/2015.

The Committee responsible for implementing listened to  the problems  from both sides of inquiries from companies that intend to submit a rehabilitation documents  of setting up  a recycling of  demolition and  construction waste plant.

Many  foreign companies working  in this area from several different countries such as Bahrain , the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and the Netherlands participated in this seminar as well as some interested Egyptian investors  through  a partnership with experienced foreign companies. Professors from Egyptian universities who are  researchers in the field of recycling demolition and construction waste such as the Universities of Alexandria and Tanta in addition to a number of major Egyptian construction companies such as  "Arab Contactors " and  "Egypt  Renaissance " also participated in the the  seminar.

A limited and specific tender  is going to be  announced for which  those who are qualified for setting  a recycling of  demolition and  construction waste plant can submit in order to provide products matching international standards at low prices which Egyptian  real estate market needs such as solid and hollow cement bricks , separating roads walls   (New Jersey) , walls of security protection , Interlock , and other products.

The Committee will study the written submitted inquiries   so as to prepare certified reply  within a week from the date of the seminar and then to be presented to the legal adviser of New Urban Communities Authority on 10/21/2015 to fulfill the terms of the measures as the deadline is 22/11/2015. Results will be published on "New Urban Communities Authority " site  and  "Housing and Building National Research Center " site and companies will be emailed with the results .
